The executive council of the National Association of English and Literary Studies, University of Ibadan Chapter has on 20th of May, 2024, announced the call for nominations for interested individuals who would love to represent the department in the pageantry role of the Face of Departments and the Face of NASELS. 

Announcing this was the public relations officer of the department, Demilade Okunola, who sent a broadcast to the NASELS family page unveiling the opportunity for interested NASELSites to volunteer for the pageantry role. 

The broadcast stated, “The selected individual will serve as the ‘FACE OF NASELS’, acting as the ambassador for our department. This opportunity is open to all students within the association, regardless of their level.”

As such, interested students are expected to possess certain qualities like being fashionable, articulate, outspoken, and willing to represent the department at social gatherings and events in and around the department. 

Interested applicants for this esteemed role are expected to submit their nominations to the social director, Gloria Afolabi, by Tuesday, May 21, 2024.

In the bid to select the best nominee, the selection process is divided into three stages: nomination, audition, and voting.
