BlackHouse Worldwide in conjunction with the Department of English, University of Ibadan present a stage play titled,”CLEOPATRA VII PHARAOH QUEEN OF EGYPT” on Friday, June 20, 2025 at the Faculty of Arts Quadrangle, University of Ibadan.

The stage play which started by 7pm, was in honour of Professor Nelson Fashina, the Head of the Department of English. It was also in commemoration of the HOD’s birthday.

Present were the students of the department, the writer of the play, Toyin Abiodun; the Director, Yemi Akintokun; invited guests and students from other departments who came to enjoy the lovely and lively performance.

The event featured traditional dance displays, including the iconic “Bata” dance followed by the main performance. The stage play however continues on Saturday, June 21, by 7pm, still at the same location.
