The University of Ibadan Student Union has updated the students on the resolution of the Town Hall meeting held on May 1st, 2025.

According to the UI’SU executive council, the meeting had in attendance approximately 150 student leaders who ruminated on the pressing issues affecting the student body.

Deliberating on these issues by the students leaders across Faculties, Departments and Hall of Residence, UI’SU resolved to compile and present all the raised concerns and complaints to the University management for their immediate attention and necessary actions.

They also implored Departmental and Faculty Presidents affected by discrepancies in fees to collate and submit a detailed breakdown of the school fees paid by their students to the Students’ union.

Additionally, the Union proposed a Congress depending on the outcome of their consultation with the University Management which will likely be convened on or before May 10, 2025.
