The University of Ibadan Student Union has issued a press release highlighting growing concerns among students over discrepancies in the recent increases in school fees across various departments.

In a release addressed to the student community on Monday, 21st April, 2025, the leadership emphasised its commitment to addressing the concerns effectively.

The statement, signed by the Union President, Covenant Odedele and General Secretary, Segun V. Olowu, expressed awareness of the complaints and is actively engaging with university authorities to find solutions.

“We want to assure all students that we are taking the matters seriously and we urge all affected students to remain calm as we work towards a resolution” the release stated.
