Adeyefa Ebenezer,  popularly known as Big Eben, and Vincent Favour have emerged victorious at the poll for the office of the General Secretary and Vice President respectively in the Faculty of Arts election.  

The election conducted on Friday at the Quadrangle, Faculty of Arts, University of Ibadan, saw the two students from the Department of English emerge winners in landslide victories against their opponents from other departments. 

Ebenezer Adeyefa had 256 votes while his opponent, Gbadamosi Akinsumbo, had 225. Similarly, Favour Vincent had 287 while her opponent, Okorogbudje Regina, had 181 votes.

It has been a long ride for Ebenezer and Favour from declaring their intentions to the screening by AFASeic and the Press Night. 

This has spurred happiness among NASELSites as the record-breaking victories are a dream come true. NASELS has not produced any executive in AFAS in the last three seasons.
