The NASELS Congress, scheduled to hold on the 5th December 2024 in Room 71, Faculty of Arts has been postponed indefinitely due to low turnout.
In attendance in the Congress, were four executive members, four pressmen and six members who were not enough to form a quorum that needed 4 members from each constituency as stipulated in the constitution.
The president, Babatunde Adamson addressed the people present at 9:54 am, stating that the congress had been postponed indefinitely due to ‘the failure to reach the requested quorum from two constituents’.
However, he asked for suggestions towards the Congress whether there would be another alternative, but there was no response.
NASELS Press can confirm that the members present were dismissed at 10:00 am.
