The Association of the Faculty of Arts Students (AFAS UI) released a notice on the 28th November, 2024 against the defacement of walls with posters.

“Attention has been drawn to several flyers, posters, stickers with different names being fixed on walls, floors and corridors within and around the faculty premises”.

“This has grossly contributed to the defacement of the environment hereby frustrating the efforts to ensure cleanliness and order. They also tend to promote waste, vandalism and poor dissemination of order”, it reads.

Trespassers are ordered to remove all posters from all surfaces not later than 24 hours from the date of release including the prohibition of further defacement.

The Faculty has pledged to refer the cases of non compliances to the appropriate University authorities.
