 The National Association of Students of English and Literary Studies (NASELS) at the University of Ibadan is hosting a one-day academic conference on October 11, 2024, to address the issue of exam anxiety and boost student confidence.

The conference, themed [Overcoming Exam Anxiety and Building Confidence], will take place at Room 71, Faculty of Arts starting at 10:00 AM. The event will feature a keynote address by Samuel Adepoju and other panel speakers Moses T. Owoeye and Chiechezor Ezem.  

The NASELS, UI, 2024/2025 executives [Team Innovation and Evolution], expressed the association’s commitment to supporting students’ academic well-being and encouraged them to be present at the conference. “Exams can be daunting, especially when anxiety kicks in or you’re unsure how to approach certain questions.”They  promised to help Naselsites tackle their exam questions and problems, “we’ll break down effective techniques and share expert advice to help you approach exam questions with confidence and clarity.”

The conference aims to equip students with valuable strategies to overcome exam anxiety and achieve academic success. The Executives express their wish to see every Naselsites present at the conference. Whether a fresher looking for how to start strong or a staylite looking for the best way to handle exam questions.
