On Friday, August 30, 2024, Babatunde Adamson, president of the National Association Of Students of English and Literary Studies, University of Ibadan shared the Letter of Appointment of Ebenezer Adeyefa as the new Director Of Media for the National Association Of Students of English and Literary Studies in the Southwest Region. 

The president of NASELS UI, Babatunde Adamson made this public on the NASELS Family page, with a memo that reads, “ I am pleased to inform you that you have been appointed as the Director of Media of the National Association Of Students of English and Literary Studies, South West region, effectively immediately, September 28, 2024.” 

According to Eben while speaking to NASELS Press, he said, “I am currently over the moon, even though it was a competition with various schools under southwest that has English as a Department like OAU, FUNAAB, AAUA, UNILAG, EKSU and many others.”

In his further testimony, he said, ” I thought low of myself if I will be able to meet up, but I had to be diplomatic, and I made a cordial relationship with the person that can influence me in and also with the president of my school, and I am very happy and grateful that God counted me worthy to take this position”. 

In addition, in a statement about what he has in view towards the new role, he said, “ I will implement an effective communication strategy which I have started working on, for both DLC students and other extensions in Southwest Region. And to this end, I aim to unite everyone, build collaboration and transparency within the organization and work towards building a brand visibilities”
