The demand of the students of the University of Ibadan took a shocking turn as the students’ leaders led by Aweda Bolaji went behind the students to have a meeting with the management amidst the school fee increment issue.

Members of the university security operatives were seen at the senate building to control the angry students who had been decrying the action of the executives to dialogue with the management behind the students.

NASELS Press can confirm that the students were waiting for the UISU leaders to come down so that they could form a congress to choose their representatives in the scheduled meeting at 3 pm only to get to the venue to realized that the UISU executives had entered.

Some UItes tried to force their entry into the meeting room only to realise that the door had been locked.

Hundreds of students, as at the time of this report, were standing outside the Senate Building.
