Nowadays, fashion has become expressive and dynamic.  Everyday, fashion revolve, making each day an opportunity for individuals to explore and embrace new styles and trends.  Students are no exception in this fashion evolution, they make use of various fashion items and elements ranging  from accessories, footwears, bags, to clothing. Let us explore some of the fashion trends that are particularly popular among students.

The first is the use of white socks. White socks are now very popular among students and it is not uncommon to see students matching ankle or long socks with sneakers, boots, loafers, and even palm slippers. Interstingly, the socks do not necessarily have to be a pure white, there are variants like slightly stained white, off white, a white closer  called brown, brown, and a likes of them. The white socks are always of different variants but they always elevate any outfits including the shoes. Also, a pair of white socks is similar to a missing puzzle because it just completes a whole look by adding the finishing touch. Besides, it is not restricted to a gender; both  females and males do wear socks. If you do not own any pair of socks consider adding some to your collection.

Another trend that has taken off is the  tote bags. Almost every student carries tote bags now because due to comfort and lightness. They come in different shapes, colours and sizes which mark them as unique. While cloth tote bags are the most common, there are also other options like the denim, leather, Ankara, crotchet tote bags. Tthe recent ones are the ones made out of leather, they are often large in size and more fashionable. When compared to backpacks, tote bags are stylish and easier to carry adding a touch of  magic to any outfit.

Loafers are a type of shoe that has become popular among students in recent times. What makes these shoes popular is the fact that it can stand the test of time, it is a shoes that goes on basically everything and anything, complementing a wide range of outfits. They are of different sizes and styles. There are the flat loafers, the tall ones with at least one inch of heel, there are the platform loafers and the loafers reassembling Mary Jane shoes. If  you are considering upgrading shoes, loafers are the best option.

Slides, known as ‘palm slippers’ has become an obsession going on for a while now. They are a top choice among students because of their ease of wear, one can easily slide unto them. Slides are not as big and chunky as shoes like sneakers or loafers but they could still be worn and styled fashionably especially for a relaxed and casual look. A popular way students wear slides or ‘palm slippers’ particularly guys, is pair them with socks, though this may not present a polished or smart look for class as it does not give a formal look.

Dyeing hair has emerged as a bold fashion  statement. It is becoming a trend among students to have their hair dyed. And it common to see the  hair  dyed in a variety of colours, such as tinted brown, grey, gold, ginger colour or wine, depending on one’s colour preference and taste. Also, dyed hair can be worn on a low cut, braid or even cornrow. It usually offer differnt vibe and it is  of unique way of personal expression regardless how it is worn.

Finally, long skirts are now a go-to and favoured fashion item among students. Long skirts have a different kind of feel when worn as they express confidence and elegance. They are available in an array of materials and styles including the caribbean skirts, jeans skirts, silk skirts, and floral pattern cotton skirts. With designs ranging from a front slit, some come in A- shape, some are of  flared designs while others are just shaped straight. Long skirts are a choice one can never go wrong with and they never go out of style.

Ultimately, regardless of the  fashion trends mentioned, the most important thing is to wear each piece and item whether it is loafers, skirts, slides or socks, with an air of confidence and pride.
