Following the abrupt conclusion of the congress, students have decided to gather signatures to call for another congress after the UI’SU President, Bolaji Aweda, abruptly ended the congress.
As at 1.30 pm after the end of the congress, close to a 100 signatories have already been collected.
The students while making resolutions in the congress, which ended abruptly, had given the UI’SU a three-day ultimatum to meet the school management and make sure the school fee is reversed.
They promised to perform a civil demonstration if UI’SU executives fail to reach an agreement with the management.
It was unanimously agreed that the time of the congress should be planned to hold after the elapse of the 3 days ultimatum.
However, according to the UI’SU Constitution, the number of signatories required to call for a congress is 250.
