Magnum Opus and ‘Bomic Rangers have been tipped to go all the way to win the maiden edition of the Exco League by the Boss FC Owner, Adekunle Salau.
Adekunle (The Boss) who is the NASELS Team captain picked the two teams as his favourites in the first match day Exco League press conference on Friday 16 August 2024.
Magnum Opus whose Owner is Adeleye Korede (Boma) and ‘Bomic Ranger whose owner is the NASELS UI President, Babatunde Adamson (‘Bomi) are parts of the six teams in the interdepartmental football competition.
Adekunle said, “I really can’t say. All teams are equal in strength, no team is greater than another. For the favourites, I’ll say Bomic Rangers and the Magnum Opus.”
The six teams participating in the tournaments are Erudites, The Boss FC, ‘Bomic Rangers, Phantom FC, Magnum Opus, and Eme FC.
All the teams will play five matches within three weeks to know the winner in the league cup competition.
With the kick-off slated for tomorrow, The Boss FC will play Erudites in an early kick-off at 7:10 am, ‘Bomic Rangers will lock horns with Phantom FC, while Magnum Opus will engage Eme FC in a cracker afterward.
