The Department of English and the Department of Psychology, on Saturday 10 August 2024, played a friendly match at the school football pitch, which ended in a 2-2 draw. 

Psychology took the lead in the second minute of the game but a goal from Eme in the 35th minute and a header from Mubarak in the 60th minute put English in a 2-1 win before Vicky scored in the 65th minute to make the game a draw. 

The friendly match came barely a week after English was eliminated from SEALS’ Cup’24. 

The 2-2 draw serves as a grain of hope for the team’s preparation for Dean’s Cup next semester. 

Nonetheless, English players will play against one another in the Exco League, an interdepartmental competition, which will begin next week.
