The Department of English, on Tuesday 6th August 2024, exited the SEALS Cup’24 after having three defeats in three matches in Group B. 

Being one of the outsiders of the tournament, the department conceded 7 goals in three matches, having tasted defeats in Agricultural and Electrical Engineering, Microbiology, and Pharmacy. 

Pharmacy, hopeful to secure a second-place spot in the group, went into the match with a point, while English had zero points, having lost against AEE by 2 goals to nil and Microbiology by 3 goals to nil. 

The Department of English failed to find the back of the net in its three matches, after losing a lot of opportunities to score goals, while Pharmacy netted twice.
