The Department of Veterinary Medicine has beaten The Department of Philosophy by a lone goal in a cracker-opener of the SEALS Cup’24 on Friday. 

In the match odds that seemed to favour the Plato Academic, the animal-doctor footballers made a sensational display to beat the defending champion. 

Plato Academy came into the tournament as a favourite, having won the title last session and been a finalist for two consecutive sessions. 

However, the Department of Philosophy needs to win their next two group matches if they will go further in the year’s SEALS Cup.
