The University of Ibadan Works and Maintenance Department on the 16th of July, 2024, disclosed in a special bulletin approved by the Vice-Chancellor of the University that electricity supply on campus will now be scheduled for 10-hour daily. 

According to the release, it stated “effective immediately, the Vice-Chancellor has approved 10-hours daily electricity supply on campus as follows”

” Day time: 08 am – 02 pm (6 hours)

Night time: 10 pm – 02 am (4 hours) “

Following the release, a lot of mixed reactions were generated from the students, who have been left in surprise with the current state of the hike in school fees, and now the latest released memo.
