The SEALS Cup planning committee, on Monday July 1, 2024, has released the modalities for the SEALS Cup 2024. 

The football competition is open to the departments in the Faculties of Arts, Science, Engineering, Law and Social Sciences, and is set to kick off this month. 

According to the modalities released by the planning committee, 32 male teams will lock horns in the competition with 64 matches to be played, while 16 female teams will participate in it with 32 matches to be played. 

Nonetheless, each departmental team in the male category will pay 20 thousand naira for registration and each female team will enter the tournament with a sum of 10 thousand naira. A department that wants to present both male and female teams will pay 28 thousand naira for the duo.
