Stanbic IBTC visited the University of Ibadan on the 20th of June, 2024 to hold a one-day campus tour at the Dame Edith Okowa Auditorium, University of Ibadan.

This event, which was tagged  “INVEST BETA CAMPUS PLAY” was sponsored by Stanbic IBTC in collaboration with Oraimo and Golden Penny. 

Upon the visit, Kolawole Shammah, a 400-level student of the Faculty of Education emerged as the winner of the finance quiz as she headed home with a whopping sum of 100,000 among two other students who also won 50,000 and 20,000 cash prizes respectively. 

The financial institution had brought financial awareness to the students, and as stated, students can now begin their investment journey with a minimum of a thousand Naira.

In the sequence of the event, Mr. Niyi, a representative of Stanbic IBTC, addressed the participants on investment. He said, “It requires consciousness and discipline to invest to increase wealth over time”.

The one-day event also captured talent shows, raffle draws, exciting games, as well as distribution of attractive prizes.
