Adebanjo Oluwafeyisayo

Ebenezer Oluwagbenga Adeyefa who is also known as Big Eben, on the 26th of May,2024, emerged as the Face of NASELS’24 in a pageantry contest with a three-stage process.

The contest report released on the NASELS UI family page unveiled the 200-level student who has qualified as the winner of the competition against two other contestants in the department after a three-stage process of screening to represent the face of the department at the faculty level.

Upon this call, three NASELSites indicated their interest and they are Adebimpe Amirah Adebisi(Mirah), Ebenezer Oluwagbenga Adeyefa (Big Eben), Elochukwu Ujunwa Miracle(Uju).

For the selection process, Ebenezer Oluwagbenga Adeyefa emerged with 70% in the audition and 48 votes in the voting process. Adebimpe Amirah Adebisi had 77% and 6 votes, while Elochukwu Ujunwa Miracle had 65% and 2 votes.

Recall that the call for the contest was earlier announced by the executive council of the National Association of English and Literary Studies, the University of Ibadan Chapter (NASELS UI), on the 20th of May, 2024, who called for the nominations of interested NASELSites who would love to represent the department in the pageantry role of the Face of Departments at the faculty level, and the Face of NASELS.
