The Executive Council of the National Association of Students of English and Literary Studies, University of Ibadan, (NASELS UI) has announced the call for a Congress so NASELSites in UI can sit to deliberate the approval of the newly revised constitution.

The announcement was made in an official public letter by the Public Relations Officer[PRO] of the department, Okunola Demilade, on the NASELS family page [WhatsApp], via the department’s WhatsApp TV on May 15, 2024, calling for a Congress for the approval of the newly revised constitution that is scheduled to be held on either Google Meet or Zoom on May 18, 2024, by 8 pm, as stated in the official public letter that was released.

According to the notification, all NASELSites will be meeting to discuss, clarify, and then vote on the approval of the revised constitution. Attached to it, is the PDF of the newly revised constitution, for students to acquaint themselves with for thorough understanding before the stated date of the Congress.

The public letter adjured NASELSites to participate actively in the process as collective efforts leads to shared success and improvement of the association.
