The Faculty of Arts is set to flag off its annual football competition tagged “AFAS Dean’s Cup 2024” on Friday, 22nd of March, 2024.

According to the information released, on the second day of the proceedings of the football competition, the departments of Theatre Arts and European Studies will jostle for victory, and this comprises both male and female players on the pitch.

Also, another round in the tournament will permit players from the departments of English and Music, and at 3pm on March 22nd.

Lastly for the tournament, players from History and Arabic Islamic Studies are scheduled to compete against each other on the same day, at 5pm.

Therefore, all events are scheduled to take place as thus: SUB pitch for the Male players, and Zik Hall Maracana for the female players.

In the end, football players and football enthusiasts of each department displayed under the Faculty will be at various locations to cheer up their department teams as they hopefully anticipate who will be carrying the cup home.
