The Faculty of Arts (AFAS) Dean’s Cup Champion, the Department of Philosophy, on Tuesday, beat the Department of Animal Science in the University of Ibadan Students Union (UISU) Super Cup, at the Student Union Pitch, University of Ibadan.

The final match ended in 3 goals to nil in the favour of the Department of Philosophy, who qualified to play the Super Cup also known as the Champions Cup as the champion of the Faculty of Arts Dean’s Cup.

The Plato’s boys netted two goals in the first half and scored the third goal in the second half.

However, the AFAS champion defeated Biochemistry, the champion of the Faculty of Basic Medical Sciences, Medicine and Surgery, the champion of the Faculty of Clinical Sciences, and Animal Science, the champion of the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences to be the winner of the maiden cup among the faculty champions.
