Jaw War, the biggest public speaking in the University of Ibadan and Nigeria held a rally on the 28th of January ahead of the first leg kicking off today.

The literary and debating event which entails residents from various halls of residence, faculties, and students from other schools is set to kick of with halls of residence and they are: Ransome Kuti vs Sultan Bello, Kenneth Mellanby vs Queen Idia, Queen Elizabeth II vs Nnamdi Azikwe, Lord Tedder vs Alexander Brown, and Obafemi Awolowo vs Independence.

The event opens with the hall category and then proceeds with faculty level, and after on in the sequence, it maintains the first leg, second leg, quarter-final, semi-final, and then to the final which is normally held at the International Conference Centre at the University of Ibadan(ICC).

The first leg will hold at the Faculty of Technology lecture theatre, NFLT by 4pm, on 30th January, 2024, and all constituents are enjoined to the troupe, to support their speakers.
