Can we meet you?

My name is Ibrahim Oloyede, Braimo.

As a student entrepreneur (studentpreneur), what do you do?

I am an Interdisciplinary creative. A photographer, explorer,  cinematographer, and storyteller

How do you locate your area of interest in entrepreneurship?

I have always wanted to be a published personality and telling stories has always been what I love doing the most and the utmost passion that I have for photography and to create arts through digital photographs are major key elements that enhanced my entrepreneurial skill acquisition.

What motivates you to become an entrepreneur

The journey started as a high school student. The passion and love for photography and determination to become a published photographer and topmost personality in the industry since childhood days and more so in digital arts and mentality of bringing new innovations in the world of arts and creativity, far and more far beyond the ways people view it and using the medium to tell my stories and explore the world.

Some believe that having entrepreneurial skill is natural, while some believe it is man-made. What is your viewpoint about it?

Entrepreneurial skill can be natural and at the same time be man-made. But to venture into entrepreneurial acquisition, it requires skills and interest in a particular field.

Tell us about the challenges you have encountered in the course of being an entrepreneur?

I have encountered so many challenges in the field of photography and cinematography as it’s one of the most expensive, if not the most expensive and demanding field due to the high cost of getting gadgets and other equipment together. Photography is not just to take pictures and save, as many clients view it. It takes a lot of process and it’s demanding.

White collar job or having an enterprise, which do you prefer and which is better to you?

White collar job is a cool job to have though, you know there’s always expectation of monthly income unlike having an enterprise where you can’t determine how much you will make in a month. But to me having an enterprise works better than having a white collar job, especially in Nigeria where we have no employment in most of these sectors as unemployment rate is very high.

How do you manage being a student as well as an entrepreneur at the same time?

This is most of the time a very difficult situation. There are times when I should travel for work and at the same time have classes, but I always try to balance the equation as for one not to affect the other. Doing this requires a lot and one must possess time management skills to be able to control the two effectively.

Who is your favourite entrepreneurial tycoon? Why?

I won’t say I have a favourite entrepreneurial tycoon in this field because my name is my first priority and my brand. It has to be my own favourite. Although I have many tycoons in this field whom I look up to and those whom I got inspirations from, to be able to build myself to the level i am and the level I will get to and more beyond what other creative has ever achieved. Many of which includes, Tunde kelani, Amazingklef, TG omori, TY Bello, Robert Peters, Unlimited LA, Clearance Peters, kayode kasumu, Larry fong, Kunle afolayan, etc and many more others to mention few.

Tell us your favourite quote about entrepreneurship.

The price for success is hard work and consistency.

Where do you see your business or enterprise in five years?

According to Albert Einstein  “Logic will get you from A to B. Imagination will take you everywhere.”

Of course in a great place! Far beyond expectation and as a multiple award winning and published creative. To inspire more people and creatives like me.
