Can we meet you?

My name is Badmus Adeola Christiana. I’m a 100 level student in the department of English Language and Literature.

Why did you choose to study English?

My initial choice of course of study wasn’t English. I changed halfway but I’ve fallen in love with the course because the English language is important for socializing.

I initially chose Law but I had to apply for a change of course after I scored 257 in JAMB. I’ve fallen in love with the course and I’m happy I didn’t end up in Law. It would have been a disaster.

What do you like about UI?

What I love about UI is the school’s transparent admission process and the high standard the school has over other institutions.

Tell us the hurdles you crossed before you were admitted.

It wasn’t really a tough experience. I got in at my first trial. The only difficulty I faced was the years we had to wait before our resuming.

After almost two years of waiting, how do you feel being a UItes?

It feels amazing, knowing that I’m studying in the first and best institution, but at the same time, it has been so stressful. However, we move.

What are the business or life skills that you have?

I was once into fashion designing but I stopped. So at present, I’ll say I’m into none.

Your hobbies, likes, and dislikes?

My hobbies are reading novels, watching movies,  and maybe talking.

Likes- Honesty, Patience, and hardworking

Dislikes- Greed, Dishonesty, and Favouritism

What do you want to become in the future?

There are a lot of things I would love to become in the future, Like A WHOLE LOT! But most importantly I’d love to see myself excelling in them all.

I’d love to be involved in anything that involves being in front of the camera, either in acting or presenting on TV.

Your relationship status?

Single to stupor!

What do you like about yourself?

I think I like the fact that I can be confident.

Your best quote?

Whatsoever is worth doing is worth doing well.

What advice would you like to give your fellow student?

Well, this piece of advice isn’t for all students, it’s going to be for the freshers alone because I can’t imagine myself dishing out advice to my seniors.

 It goes thus,

“Regardless of the struggles or challenges we might be encountering, just remember that life is an adventure. So DARE IT!!!”
