I’m Shokunbi Evangelen, a fresher of the Department of English Language and Literature.

Why did you choose English?

English gives me more platform for expression. Mainly to make a statement somewhere, somehow and anyhow in the world of English.

What do you want to become?

A lecturer. Someday, I’d go into the professor line. 

Tell us about the business or life skills that you have.

I’m into fashion design. Though it’s not 100% sharpened, a 75% is enough for the moment.

What is your relationship status?

Single

Your best food? 

I don’t have one in particular actually. But junks does it for me anytime.

What is your favourite quote?

I have two in particular,

  “You can never make it work if you don’t want it to work”

  “If you fail to think, you’d stink”

Tell us the silliest decision you have ever made.

When I decided to trek from UI to Mokola, due to the fact that I lost my purse and my ATM. It was painful.

And finally, what is the piece of advice you will like to give to other students?

Make it work out if you want to, it will surely come through somehow somehow.
