Adeyefa Israel has emerged as the winner of NASELS UI Presidential election, which held on Thursday, 30th January, 2020 at the English Departmental library.
According to the results announced by NASELSIEC, Mr Israel polled 97 votes to defeat his opponent, Nwode Jesse-Josh who polled the total votes of 38.
The total votes of 138 was cast out of which 3 were declared invalid.
Meanwhile in the Vice Presidential race, Miss Agboola Bolanle polled 92 votes to triumph over her opponent, Miss Arazi Sara, who got 40 votes.
Out of the total votes of 138, 6 votes were declared void by NASELSIEC
Mr Oguntegbe Paul was elected as the Assistant General secretary with the total votes of 130. 8 votes were declared void.
In the same vein, Miss Elemoso Tolu E. polled 79 votes to beat Mr Okunola Olufunso, A(with 57 vote to clinch the Public Relation Officer.
2 votes were declared void by the electoral committee.
The election will usher in new crop of NASELS University of Ibadan executive, for the 2019/2020 academic session.
